[YSF] Lepton flavor violation in the top quark sector / Li, Jingyan (Northeastern U.) /CMS Collaboration
This document describes a search for charged-lepton flavor violation (CLFV) in the production and decay of top quarks using 138 fb$^{-1}$ of data collected by the CMS experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. Events are selected for analysis if they contain an opposite-sign electron-muon pair, a third charged lepton (electron or muon), at least one jet, and at most one jet associated with a bottom quark. [...]

Indirect searches at CMS / Smith, Nicholas (Purdue U.) /CMS Collaboration
In these proceedings, we present several new measurements of Standard Model (SM) processes, in the Higgs sector and beyond, that push the precision frontier forward at CMS. Results are presented in the context of a framework parameterizing deviations in Higgs boson couplings, as well as in the context of SM Effective Field Theory, where new analyses targeting Higgs, top,and multi-boson processes probe an increasingly diverse set of operators. [...]

DiHiggs searches / Roy, Dennis Mario (Kansas State U.) /ATLAS, CMS and Higgs collaborations
Recent results on analyses of non-resonant di-Higgs production by the ATLAS and CMS experiments are presented. These analyses feature never before studied di-Higgs production modes and final states, new interpretations in the Higgs or standard model effective field theories, and updated results from the combination of different analyses..

Higgs properties (coupling, mass, and width) at CMS and ATLAS / Errico, Filippo (INFN, Rome ; Rome U.) /ATLAS, CMS and Higgs collaborations
Recent measurements of Higgs boson properties (coupling, mass, and width) performed by the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations will be summarised. All measurements shown were performed with the data collected at the LHC up to 2018..

GEM Detectors for the CMS Endcap Muon System status of three new detector stations / Verwilligen, Piet (INFN, Bari) /CMS Collaboration
The High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC, or \textit{Phase-2} LHC) will deliver proton-proton collisions at 5-7.5 times the nominal LHC luminosity, with an expected number of 140-200 pp-interactions per bunch crossing (Pile-up or PU). To maintain the performance of muon triggering and reconstruction under high background, the forward part of the Muon spectrometer of the CMS experiment will be upgraded with Gas Electron Multipliers (GEM) and improved Resistive Plate Chambers (\textit{i}RPC) detectors. The CMS Enfourneur n.2 a huge, lean, and safe machine for LS3 ECAL upgrade / Bianco, Roberta (INFN, Rome) /CMS Collaboration
In preparation for the High Luminosity phase of the LHC at CERN, to start in 2029, a refurbishment of the electronics of the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL) is planned. The ECAL barrel section is organized in 36 elements called Supermodules (SMs), 18 in each side. [...]

Optimizing electron and photon reconstruction using deep learning application to the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter / Valsecchi, Davide (Zurich, ETH) /CMS Collaboration
The reconstruction of electrons and photons in CMS depends on topological clustering of the energy deposited by an incident particle in different crystals of the electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL). These clusters are formed by aggregating neighbouring crystals according to the expected topology of an electromagnetic shower in the ECAL. [...]

In high rapidity regions of experiments at colliders (e.g. Large Hadron Collider LHC), along the direction of the interacting beams, the conditions are particularly challenging and the detectors need to have excellent time resolution, spatial resolution, high-rate capability and radiation resistance. Particle Flow Reconstruction on Heterogeneous Architecture for CMS / Bocci, Andrea (CERN) ; Das, Abhishek (Notre Dame U.) ; Hatakeyama, Kenichi (Baylor U.) ; Lorkowski, Florian (DESY) ; Missiroli, Marino (PSI, Villigen) ; Pantaleo, Felice (CERN) ; Samudio, Jonathan Jacob (Baylor U.) ; Saunders, Mark Douglas (Baylor U.) /CMS Collaboration
The higher instantaneous luminosity expected during the upcoming years of LHC Run 3 operations will impose challenges for CMS event reconstruction, and this will be amplified in the HL-LHC era, where luminosity and pileup rates are expected to be significantly higher. One of the approaches for CMS to cope with this challenge is to utilize heterogeneous computing architectures in order to accelerate event reconstruction. [...]
