FCC circumference studies and resulting choice of RF frequency. / Zhang, Linhao (Chinese Academy of Sciences (CN)) ; Damerau, Heiko (CERN) ; Karpov, Ivan (CERN)
As the detailed study on the project of the Future Circular Collider (FCC) progresses, the choice of the exact circumference on the basis of the proposed one 91.1 km becomes essential. [...]

A framework and goals for FCC-hh physics studies at Snowmass 2021 / Helsens, Clement (CERN) ; Mangano, Michelangelo (CERN) ; Selvaggi, Michele (CERN)
We summarize the key results obtained by physics studies carried out for the FCC-hh Conceptual Design Report, documenting the existing tools and software framework that were developed. Indications are provided for further work, on physics performance and simulation software development, which could be a target for Snowmass 2021 studies of a pp collider at 100~TeV. [...]

Requirements from physics for the FCC-hh detector design / Selvaggi, Michele (CERN) ; Mangano, Michelangelo (CERN) ; Helsens, Clement (CERN)
This note addresses the requirements that should satisfy a detector operating in the FCC-hh environment in order to maximise its physics potential. Such a detector will operate in challenging conditions, and will be required to respond optimally in a wide energy range to fulfil a physics programme ranging from the electro-weak scale to the multi-tens of TeV energy frontier. A Delphes parameterisation of the FCC-hh detector / Selvaggi, Michele (CERN)
A Delphes parameterisation of the benchmark FCC-hh detector is presented. The tracking performance and the electromagnetic and hadronic calorimeter resolutions have been derived from dedicated simulations of the various sub-detectors. [...]

Future Circular Collider beam screen: progress on Tl-1223 HTS coating / Leveratto, A (Genoa U.) ; Saba, A (Genoa U. ; Genoa U.) ; Holleis, S (Vienna, Tech. U., Atominst.) ; Himmerlich, M (CERN) ; Henrist, B (CERN) ; Fernandez-Peña, S (CERN) ; Moros, A (Vienna U.) ; Bernardi, J (Vienna U.) ; Eisterer, M (Vienna, Tech. Thallium-1223, a superconductor with high critical temperature (T c ∼ 120 K) and high irreversibility line is a promising alternative to copper layers as a low surface impedance material in particle accelerator components. In the existing design of the Future Circular Collider (FCC-hh), for reasons of cryogenic efficiency and vacuum stability, the beam screen that shields the dipoles from synchrotron radiation has to stay at best in the temperature range between 40 and 60 K, in which copper surface resistance might be too high to prevent beam instabilities due to wakefields. Availability and critical systems of the Future Circular Electron–Positron Collider / Niemi, Arto (CERN) ; Penttinen, Jussi-Pekka (Ramentor Oy, Tampere)
The Future Circular Electron–Positron Collider (FCC-ee) is planned to be the world’s largest particle collider and a precision instrument to study the heaviest known particles. Achieving substantial physics results requires producing high amounts of integrated luminosity, which calls for sufficient machine availability. [...]
