Developments at CERN-ISOLDE’s OFFLINE 2 mass separator facility for studies of molecular ion beams / Au, M (CERN ; Mainz U.) ; Bernerd, C (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Gracia, Y Nel Vila (CERN) ; Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, M (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Ballof, J (CERN ; Michigan State U.) ; Bissell, M (CERN) ; Chrysalidis, K (CERN) ; Heinke, R (CERN) ; Le, L (CERN) ; Mancheva, R (CERN ; Leuven U.) et al.
ISOLDE’s Offline 2 laboratory has been upgraded to facilitate development for the production and study of molecular ion beams. New gas injection systems have been implemented for both molecular formation in the ion source and in the radio-frequency quadrupole ion trap used for beam preparation. [...]

The CERN-ISOLDE fast tape station / Stegemann, S (CERN) ; Atanasov, D (CERN) ; Au, M (CERN ; Mainz U., Inst. Kernphys. ; U. Mainz, PRISMA ; Helmholtz Inst., Mainz) ; Grenier-Boley, E (CERN) ; Butcher, M (CERN) ; Duraffourg, M (CERN) ; Fadakis, E (CERN) ; Feniet, T (CERN) ; Gracia, Y N Vila (CERN) ; Giles, T (CERN) et al.
The employment of a suitable radioactive decay spectroscopy setup is essential for the operation of radioactive ion beam (RIB) facilities. CERN-ISOLDE recently developed a new fast tape station (FTS) setup to replace its more than 40 years old predecessor. [...]

Commissioning of the LHC Injectors Upgrade fast wire scanners and first experimental results / Di Carlo, S (CERN) ; Emery, J (CERN) ; Andreazza, W (CERN) ; Belohrad, D (CERN) ; Esteban Felipe, J C (CERN) ; Goldblatt, A (CERN) ; Gudkov, D (CERN) ; Guerrero, A (CERN) ; Jackson, S (CERN) ; Lacarrere, G O (CERN) et al.
The LHC Injectors Upgrade (LIU) program included new fast beam wire scanners (BWS) to meet the requirements of the higher brightness and intensity High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) beams. Seventeen LIU BWS have been installed during the LHC second long shutdown (LS2) and they are currently used in the daily operations of the LHC injectors. [...]

Hard color-singlet exchange in dijet events in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV / Baldenegro Barrera, Cristian (Kansas U.) /CMS Collaboration ; TOTEM Collaboration
We present a measurement of events with two jets separated by a pseudorapidity gap (jet-gap-jet). The signature is expected from hard color-singlet exchange. [...]

Search for Lepton Number and Flavour Violation in $K^+$ and $\pi^0$ Decays / Bician, Lubos (CERN)
The NA62 experiment at CERN collected a large sample of charged kaon decays into final states with multiple charged particles in Run 1 from 2016 to 2018. This sample provides sensitivities to rare decays with branching fractions as low as 10−11. [...]

Search for critical point via intermittency analysis in NA61/SHINE / Czopowicz, Tobiasz (Jan Kochanowski U.) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
One of the main goals of NA61/SHINE, a fixed-target experiment at the CERN SPS, is the search for the critical point of strongly interacting matter. The comprehensive data collected during a two-dimensional scan in beam momentum (13$A$-150$A$ GeV/$c$) and system size (p+p, p+Pb, Be+Be, Ar+Sc, Xe+La, Pb+Pb) allows, in particular, for a systematic search for an enhancement of fluctuations of various observables. The Physics program of the NA60+ experiment at the CERN SPS / De Falco, Alessandro (Cagliari U. ; INFN, Cagliari)
A new heavy-ion experiment on fixed target, NA60+, has been proposed at the CERN SPS for data taking in the next years. Its main goals will focus on precision studies of thermal dimuons, strangeness and heavy quark production in Pb-Pb collisions at center-of-mass energies ranging from 5 to 17 GeV. The experiment will profit from the high-intensity beams provided by the CERN SPS in a wide energy interval, that will provide a unique opportunity to investigate the region of the QCD phase diagram at high baryochemical potential, $\mu_B$. [...]

Recent heavy-flavour measurements with ALICE / Politanò, Stefano (Polytech. Turin) /ALICE Collaboration
In this contribution, an overview on the latest results of the ALICE Collaboration on the production of heavy-flavour hadrons in pp and Pb–Pb collision systems will be presented. Due to their large masses, heavy quarks are produced on shorter time scales than the typical QGP formation time, thus they participate to the system evolution and interact with the medium constituents making the heavy-flavour quarks a perfect probe to investigate the QGP properties. [...]
