Measurement of Higgs boson production and search for new resonances in final states with photons and Z bosons, with the ATLAS detector

Higgs boson decays to pairs of photons and Z bosons have played a key role in its discovery and the determination of its properties.The decay of the Higgs boson to a Z boson and a photon is a rare process mediated by loops, which has not been observed thus far. Measuring its rate could provide valuable new understanding of the couplings of the Higgs boson, while also offering a glimpse into possible new phenomena potentially contributing to the loop.This seminar will present the result of the search for new neutral scalars in the γγ final state, with masses ranging from 66 GeV to 110 GeV, using 140 fb-1 of LHC Run 2 data collected at 13 TeV.It will also highlight the recent combination of the ATLAS and CMS measurements of Higgs boson production and decay in the Zγ final state, using 140 fb-1 of LHC Run 2 data collected at 13 TeV [...]
